One of the most common questions photographers hear is, “How many photos will we get?”

It’s a fair question. When you’re investing in photography, you want to know what you’ll be taking home.

Many photographers build their packages around a set number of images. I take a slightly different approach. At Alexis Dawson Photography, I provide an estimate of the number of images you can expect, but I don’t put a strict cap on your final gallery.

Your gallery isn’t limited by a number. It’s guided by your story.

I want to capture the genuine smiles, the little in-between moments, the way your family interacts, and the connection that makes your relationship yours. I never want to leave a meaningful photograph out of your gallery simply because I’ve reached a predetermined number.

After your session, I carefully review your photographs and individually edit the images selected for your final gallery. I look for photographs that tell the story of your session, not simply ones that increase the image count.
