Hi, I’m Alexis
I’m drawn to the moments that feel real. The quiet in-between ones, the laughter that sneaks in, and the connections people share when they forget the camera is there.
My approach is a mix of gentle guidance and natural moments. I’ll help you into flattering poses when you need them, but I also leave room for genuine interaction so your photos feel relaxed and true to you.
My editing style is warm, earthy, and timeless, focused on creating images that feel natural and meaningful for years to come.
For me, photography isn’t about perfect poses — it’s about capturing the moments that matter most.
My Story
I first picked up a camera in 2019 during my junior year of high school, and what started as a creative outlet quickly turned into something I fell completely in love with.
In July of 2024, I married the love of my life in Utah. Shortly after our wedding, we moved across the country and now call South Carolina home. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband or hanging out with our two golden doodle fur babies.
Life’s big milestones and the quiet everyday moments are what make memories meaningful — and those are the moments I love capturing most through photography.
Why I Love What I Do
Every season of life has a story worth remembering
I love photographing families because every family is beautifully unique. From the giggles of little ones to the quiet moments between parents, there is so much love woven into the everyday moments.
I love photographing couples because I'm a hopeless romantic at heart. Watching two people laugh together, support one another, and simply enjoy being in each other's presence is something I'll never get tired of witnessing.
And weddings? There is nothing quite like them. Being trusted to capture the moment two people promise forever to each other is an honor I don't take lightly. I get a front-row seat to one of the most meaningful days of someone's life, and I love preserving those memories for generations to come.
More Than Just Photos
One of my favorite parts of every session happens near the end. By then, we've spent enough time together that it feels less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with friends. The nerves have faded, the laughter comes naturally, and everyone starts to relax into being themselves.
I love turning my camera around and showing clients a few images throughout the session. Seeing their faces light up when they see themselves the way I see them never gets old. Those moments remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.
A Few Things About Me
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me exploring South Carolina with my husband, Troy. We love taking drives, trying new restaurants, visiting new places, and making little adventures out of ordinary days.
I'm equally happy spending a quiet evening on the couch watching a movie together with our two golden doodles, Murphy and Fede, curled up nearby.
